While visiting friends and family in my home state of Alabama, one of my best friends, Taylor Carden, hit me up in need of photos for Christmas cards! Natalie, Taylor, and their dog “Copper” were great clients and we had a blast taking photos on Friday.
Elthon contacted me in need of lifestyle-type photos for his social media sites and company website. Elthon is one of the co-owners of the Raleigh-based recording company known as Raleigh Recording Co. Aside from Raleigh Recording, Elthon writes pop/electronic dance music with a collaboration of people under the name Met Steps.
Matt originally wanted me to get some photos of him rollerblading at the Durham Skate Park, but upon arriving we discovered that the park was closed for construction. Since it was 7:00 pm, AKA ‘Golden Hour’, we decided to head up to the top of a nearby parking deck to get some portraits.

Katelyn came to me in need of photos for her upcoming EP release. I provided Katelyn with several ‘low-key’ style shots with dark negative space so she could overlay any text she wanted.
One weekend last December I decided to take the train for the first time, because it was cheaper and also I’m always looking for a new adventure. While sitting in the lounge car around 9 hours into the ride I was looking out the window, admiring the scenery and then thought to myself, “I need to go get my camera.” I retrieved my Nikon and sat back down, and just as I did– I saw Sirr begin to unpack a bag full of tattoo equipment. So, I sat down in front of him and we started chatting.
